ImageThanks for joining us as we start this blog!  A group of us did our Assistants to Infancy (AtoI) training together in the first Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) AtoI course in Canada and we’ve now become mothers.  We’re excited to share what we learned and how we are implementing our Montessori training in our homes with our children.  We hope some of these Montessori ideas will not seem so “out there” and instead, that you will find the philosophy and materials accessible to you and your families.  Our dream is that some of these practices will become the “norm” so that more children can have these opportunities, and you as parents can have deeply meaningful experiences with your children.  This week we’re starting off by introducing ourselves and next week we’ll dive into what we’re doing at home.  We hope you enjoy reading about our adventures!

What a lovely thing to do to stay connected! I just finished my training here in PDX, and some of us are looking for ways to stay connected, we’ve got such an international group. Did y’all train in Vancouver? Your lovely ChaCha came and examined us.

  3. Thanks for your support Paije! We all trained in Vancouver with ChaCha. Those of us who are contributing to this blog live in Vancouver and try to get together every once in a while. For the rest of our class, it was very international. We stay connected via facebook and e-mail, and visiting each other whenever we have the opportunity to do so!
